WORKING TOGETHER
If we would work together,
Like spokes inside a wheel.
Then we could surely make this world,
A better place to live.
There would be no hungry children,
No families on relief.
For God would bless the effort,
And take away all grief.
If we would work together,
Like straws inside a broom.
Then no one would be lonely,
For there would be no room.
No room for pain or sorrow,
Too busy to be bored.
And not a worry about the things,
We know we can't afford.
