WITH YOU IN MIND
With you in mind I went to God,
And asked Him to help you this day.
I knew you had problems you needed to solve,
God, help him, what more could I say.
With you in mind my heart went out,
For I knew how you needed prayer.
And, oh, how I thanked Him for such a good friend,
For burdens were meant to be shared.
With you in mind I trusted the Lord,
And went on my way with this thought.
No burdens are greater than Christ on the tree,
He paid for them all on the cross.
With you in mind I felt a sweet calm,
That I had not felt for some time.
For God in His mercy had heard us today,
He answered our prayers, yours and mine.
