THE LORD WAS THERE
The Lord was there with Daniel,
Inside the lion's den.
He was there with the Hebrew Children,
Yes, time and time again.
When David fought Goliath,
The Lord He picked the stone.
He saved the house of Israel,
Through all their doubts and wrongs.
The Lord was with the Prophets,
When they told us of Christ.
He gave us hope eternal,
And always good advice.
With Paul the great apostle,
As he taught you and me.
Deny ourself and serve the Lord,
He is there to set us free.
