THE GOD OF HOSTS
Beyond the clouds and through the air,
The God of hosts awaits us there.
With open arm and tender love,
And mansions waiting there above.
The God of hosts has made a plan,
To save the sinful likes of man.
And plant Him firmly like a tree,
To live throughout eternity.
So man will never have to boast,
But only please the God of hosts.
And trust His Son so true and fair,
By whom we now are made an heir.
So never fear the tide or flood,
But trust the loving Saviour's blood.
And the God of hosts will be the one,
To greet you when this life is done.
