THE CHURCH DOOR
There's beauty by the old church door,
Lord, help us swing it wide.
That we may show the lost the way,
Of love and joy inside.
And help us out from day to day,
As children, Lord, we serve.
And keep the church doors open, God,
That's more than we deserve.
Just lead us to the sheep that's lost,
We find them more and more.
And only you can lead them Lord,
Yes, through the old church doors.
Once inside it's up to us,
To let our light shine on.
So keep the church doors open, Lord,
Until you call us home.
