Your's in Christ, The Reverend Cecil Smith
SIXTEEN
She's now sixteen and still daddy's girl,
Has the prettiest blue eyes in the entire world.
With hair like gold that shines like the sun,
And a sweet smiling face for most everyone.
Saved by God's grace and free as the breeze,
A sweet, little girl who is easy to please.
Never complains when the world lets her down,
And laughing with others is how she is found.
Saying good-bye as she goes off to school,
Smart as a cricket She's nobody's fool.
Making big plans for vacation time,
Saving her nickels, quarters and dimes.
She's quite a girl to be only sixteen,
She's Mom's little helper and Dad's little queen.
Her brother and sister have moved off and gone,
A little spoiled but thank God she's at home.
