POWER IN THE GOSPEL
Like a leaf that withers,
Before the autumn wind.
The gospel has eternal power,
Within the hearts of men.
The power to change the wicked,
And give new hope within.
To cleanse the hearts of sinners,
And guide the world from sin.
To show the lost the pathway,
That never, ever fails.
It keeps our eyes on Jesus,
Who saves our soul from hell.
Yes, like a summer raindrop,
There's beauty to be heard.
So, trust the precious Son of God,
There's power in His word.
