MY LORD AND I
Sometimes I get discouraged,
Sometimes I want to cry.
And then we talk about it,
Just my Lord and I.
He helps me with the problem,
The big or maybe small.
I never stop to count them,
He helps me with them all.
And then when life is brighter,
As smooth as apple pie.
We have a laugh together,
Just my Lord and I.
So should you get downhearted,
Or should you want to cry.
