MEN'S FAILURES
As I view the splendid colors,
High upon the mountainside.
Lord, it seems to paint a picture,
How so many men have tried.
Tried to scale the wild blue yonder,
Reaching for the highest peak.
Never getting any closer,
Then the ground beneath their feet.
Many failures have been questioned,
Men are never satisfied.
Yet they fail to trust in Jesus,
All because of foolish pride.
Pride can never climb a mountain,
Without Jesus you will fail.
That's why He climbed Calvary's mountain,
Just to save us all from hell.
