GOD'S CHILD
Your footsteps linger on the path,
The moon shines as you pass.
All the flowers come alive,
And so does each blade of grass.
To others you are just someone,
With a kind and gentle smile.
But to God you're very special,
For you are His devoted child.
So with the miracles of this life,
And all the joy delight.
A child of God deserves the best,
Within our Father's sight.
And so He gives you life and peace,
It's true He really cares.
He loves you, dear devoted child,
You're His and now an heir.
