Your's in Christ, The Reverend Cecil Smith
GARDEN OF LOVE
I'd like to plant a garden,
And let the Saviour guide.
With rows and rows of happiness,
And not one row of pride.
I'd like to sow encouragement,
With a row or two of smiles.
Yes, plant some love and laughter,
So it would be worthwhile.
And yes, within this garden,
I would surely have some fun.
For God wants smiling faces,
When each day's work is done.
And then I'd plant thanksgiving,
To please the one above.
And several rows of courage,
In the garden I call love.
