CASTLE WITHOUT A QUEEN
Well, a home is just a castle,
That is built with hands of love.
Where we grow old together,
Where we share each other's love.
We built our home together,
It was built on hopes and dreams,
But a home is not a castle,
Once you have lost your queen.
Now it was just last summer,
That cancer took it's hurt.
Our castle started falling,
As you kept getting worse.
The doctor said, "I'm sorry,"
"There's nothing left it seems."
Now my home is not a castle,
Since I have lost my queen.
The family members told me,
Somehow I must go on.
They said the children needed,
There daddy here at home.
This house is oh so empty,
She's always in my dreams.
And the home is not a castle,
Once you have lost your queen.
