BORROWED BIBLE
He asked me to borrow a book one day,
Just any old book will do.
I gave him the Bible that I love to read,
And told him he should read it through.
He thanked me and said what is this book about?
Well, it's all about God, I explained.
And it tells how a man can be freed from his sins,
By trusting in His Holy Name.
It opens your eyes to a new look in life,
That much of the world does not see.
Just read it I know you'll have joy in your heart,
For that is what happened to me.
So when you find that you have extra time,
To read all the fine things in life.
Just study the Bible you borrowed from me,
And God will make everything right.
