AN OLD MAN'S PRAYER
Dear Lord, the time is passing,
I'll soon be eighty-three.
I thank you most for Jesus,
Who did so much for me.
And Lord for sweet salvation,
You've given from above.
The many times you gave me hope,
And thank you Lord for love.
For saving all my children,
I thank you every day.
And for each member of the church,
Where I go to pray.
Lord, now I've gotten older,
I'll soon be coming home.
And Lord you've been so good to me,
I've never walked alone.
