AN ACTIVE CHURCH
The church teaches love and compassion,
To lift one another in prayer.
And show all the lost world around it,
Each service that Jesus is there.
It generously welcomes each person,
With smiles and the shake of the hand.
It teaches the truth from the Bible,
And God is the one in command.
It prays for the sick and afflicted,
Gives thanks to the Lord everytime.
Is known for it's love and it's action,
And the atmosphere's warm and so kind.
It's active in all of God's business,
A place where all people can pray.
Thank God for the church that is active,
We certainly do need it today.
